Combining Key Frames

A quick update: We’ve been attempting to combine all three pieces of animation which we did, but we have run into the problem of getting each pose to synch up. Each animator has had a different way to approach their key frames such as naturally finding the right look or during whole numbers to mathematically understand cleaner movement.

Scott resolved much of issue by getting each animation together and posing it an accurate enough position and then changed the visibility so that it would change between the separate animation. In addition, we were also lucky that I had my animation timed to whole numbers so Scott and I were able to go into the pose transition and ensure the last key frames for his pose linked up with mine, as you can see from the image below:

This has set our production timeline back a bit but we’ll be able to recover once the poses are linked. At least we took a major learning curve from this and can use this experience to our advantage when it comes to our more complex animation…
