Week 3: Organic Narrative Development Strategy

We are aiming to be quite strategic in our management of the story, something I’m calling “Organic Narrative Development”. Basically, we’re using our feedback, research and artistic process to progress and develop the narrative naturally rather than forcing out something that will inevitably run into problems later. This is a means to avoid delaying our production until the narrative is complete. Effectively, if we come to early agreements we can lock them in place, commence the task and be able to flexibility jump back and forth to make the narrative fit around it or vice versa in a meaningful way.

Our logic is that if we get several weeks down the road and it’s incomplete, our production should be far enough that we can provide a refreshing look and work out narrative problems from that.

For the rest of this blog, I expect the narrative to adapt to our research, feedback and artistic direction.
