Blendshapes For Face

I went back to my notes from last semester regarding Blendshapes and decided to trigger my memory and watch this tutorial before I blendshaped.

Initially, I was supposed to do a full facial blendshape rig, but after much discussion with Tyrone and Jess, as a matter for time management and practicality, it was better reduce the workload to simply doing the necessary poses, which were to add a nose and throat blend for the dog to sniff and also for its heavy breathing, effectively enhancing a very subtle but noticeable visual to the dog’s animation. On top of that, the blends were general for the eye movement, but like with the rig, once we attached the texture and normal maps, everything naturally worked, reducing the need for very precise movements.
